* He was the person who built the 100 mile long shortcut super highway from Karachi to Hyderabad.

* This was the man who set up the Taxila Heavy Mechanical Complex and the tank factory in the mountains that manufactures Khalid tanks.

* He was the person who set up a railway engine factory in Risalpur.

* He was the person who set up a factory to manufacture railway bogies in Islamabad.

* He was the person whose policies affected the textile industry in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad and Multan.

* He was the man who built a textile university on several acres in Faisalabad.

* He was the man who, in anticipation of future oil prices and scarcity, ran an experimental electric train from Lahore to Khanewal.
