Karachi claims to have more than 50,000 seats in the auditorium
The second meeting of the anti-government movement of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PTM), an alliance of opposition parties, is taking place today in Karachi, the country's largest city.
Organizers have claimed that more than 50,000 seats have been arranged in the hall.
The meeting will be attended by other opposition parties including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), PML-N, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F).
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maryam Nawaz, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders will address the meeting.
The Karachi meeting is being hosted by the Pakistan People's Party for which 3 different stages have been set up in Jinnah Garden, the main stage is made for leaders and central leaders, other leaders will sit on 2 more stages.
Giant screens and powerful sound systems have been installed in and around the auditorium, while a wall has been built in front of the stage with barbed wire and containers.
A separate section of barbed wire fence has been set aside for female participants in the auditorium.
