ISLAMABAD- Tiktok was shut down yesterday by Pakistan on the grounds of immoral content, after which the social app for sharing short videos offered to address the concerns by contacting the country's administration. 

In response to questions from a news agency, the Tik Tak management has expressed hope that it will soon work with the PTA to reach a conclusion that would allow the Tik Tak app to resume operations in Pakistan.

A senior PTA official also confirmed the contact by Tik Tak and said that if the app management improves its anti-illegal content prevention system, PTA can restore it. ۔
