Chinese experts train Pakistani drivers to drive trains
Experts from China trained Pakistani drivers to operate the Orange Line train.
According to sources, the task of cleaning the train has been handed over to Lahore Waste Management Company while 8 grid stations will provide electricity to the electric train.
Initially the train is running for 12 hours while in future it is planned to increase the operation time of the train to 16 hours.
Sources said that the new fare will be reviewed by the government after six months. In addition, cameras have been installed on all the routes of the train and inside the train.
It may be mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar will inaugurate the Orange Line train today.
Chairman C-Pac Authority Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa will also attend the inauguration ceremony of the Orange Line train. Apart from him, the Chinese Ambassador has also been invited to the inauguration ceremony of the Orange Train.
