Cynthia Richie's request, Rehman Malik, SP and SHO to respond

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to Cynthia Richie, an American woman, seeking registration of a case against Rehman Malik and sought reply from Rehman Malik, SP Complaint, SHO.

chif Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah heard the request. Guidance Imran Feroze showed up for the benefit of Cynthia de Richie.

The text of the petition filed by Cynthia said that Rehman Malik had committed a heinous crime but no action had been taken against him, while the Justice of Peace rejected the petition and did not take into account important legal points.

The petition seeks annulment of the October 1 decision of the Justice of Peace, ordering the SP complainant to file a case against Rehman Malik.

Justice Athar Minallah asked Cynthia Richie's lawyer what was the decision of the Supreme Court in this regard. Lawyer Imran Feroze told the court that he would submit a copy of the Supreme Court decision to the court at the next hearing.

The court issued notice to the parties and adjourned the hearing till October 23
