Former cricketer of the national cricket team and fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, also known as Rawalpindi Express, has expressed deep sorrow over the fire at Hafeez Center in Lahore yesterday and appealed to the government to help the victims of the incident.


Shoaib Akhtar lamented the incident at the Hafeez Center in Lahore and tweeted on the social networking site Twitter that "the news of the fire at the Hafeez Center in Lahore is very sad."





"A lot of people have lost a lot in this incident," the former cricketer said.


He stated, May Allah Almighty award recuperating to all the influenced individuals and award them the solidarity to persevere."


Appealing to the government of Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar wrote, "I appeal to the government to help all those whose businesses have been destroyed in this incident."



It is to be noted that the fire that broke out in Mobile, Laptop and Electronics Plaza on Gulberg Main Boulevard in Lahore at 6 am yesterday got out of control with the passage of time. On the floor



A spokesman for the rescue said that according to initial reports, the fire started due to a short circuit while many shopkeepers cried in helplessness when they saw the business burning.
