Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev's health is improving and he will be discharged from the hospital after further improvement.

According to Dia reports in India, Kapil Dev's wife says that Kapil Dev is in good health and will be shifted home soon.

It may be recalled that a local hospital in New Delhi came to the hospital at 10 am yesterday on a complaint of pain, where the cricketer underwent emergency coronary angioplasty.

Never before had there been a report of a cricketer suffering from heart disease.

Kapil Dev, 61, helped India win the World Cup in 1983. Kapil Dev is considered one of the greatest all-rounders in the world.

Kapil Dev, representing India in 131 Test matches, took 434 wickets and scored 5,248 runs as a batsman.

The former Indian captain also took 253 wickets and 3,783 runs in 225 ODIs
