 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wins National T20 Cup

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa clinched the title by defeating Southern Punjab in the final of the National T20 Cup. Thanks to Fakhr Zaman and Shoaib Malik's aggressive half-century, KP scored 206 for four, with Southern Punjab scoring 196 in reply.

In the final played in Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa got off to a great start. Fakhr Zaman scored 67 off 40 balls, Rizwan scored 25 and Mohammad Hafeez scored 38, then Shoaib Malik scored 56 off 22 balls and the team scored four wickets. Reached 206 runs.

In reply, Southern Punjab lost three wickets for 34 runs, but then Hussain Talat (63 off 33 balls) and Khushdal Shah (34) boosted the team's confidence. But later the players lost courage for 196 runs for 8 wickets.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa clinched the title with a 10-run victory. Shaheen Afridi topped the tournament with 20 wickets while Fakhr Zaman top-scored with 420 runs.
