 Maryam Nawaz reached Karachi

Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif's daughter and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi from Lahore to attend today's meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties.

When Maryam Nawaz reached Karachi, she was greeted by a large number of PML-N workers outside the airport.

From Karachi airport, Maryam Nawaz boarded a special bomb-proof vehicle of PPP leader Sharjeel Memon sent by the PPP and left for Mazar-e-Quaid in the form of a rally.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has reached Karachi from Lahore on PIA flight PK303. She traveled in economy class of the plane.

Maryam Nawaz's car is being driven by PML-N leader and former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair.

Maryam Nawaz is accompanied by her husband Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar and non-league leader Shah Muhammad Shah.

Maryam Nawaz will go to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam in the form of a rally from the airport, where she will visit the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his sister Fatima Jinnah and offer Fateha.

There is a large number of Noon League workers at the reception camp on Shara Faisal, dancing to the beat of drums and chanting slogans.

Sources said that before the PDM meeting, the PDM leadership will meet at a local hotel before the meeting where the leaders will meet.

PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is already at the local hotel. Maryam Nawaz will also arrive at the local hotel after visiting Mazar-e-Quaid.

The PDM leaders will work out a strategy for addressing the meeting.

Maryam Nawaz will stay in Karachi for two days, during which she will address a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties, while attending a party function.

Earlier, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Jati Amra left Lahore, accompanied by her husband Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar and PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb.

Talking to media on her way to the airport from Jatiya Amra, Maryam Nawaz said that Prime Minister Imran Khan's speech was the speech of a loser.

He also said that Nawaz Sharif did not address the loser, the government does not see anything, God willing, everything will be seen in a few days.

It should be noted that the second meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PTM), a coalition of opposition parties, is taking place in Karachi, the country's largest city.

Organizers claim that more than 50,000 seats have been arranged in the auditorium.

The meeting will be attended by other opposition parties including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), PML-N, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F).

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maryam Nawaz, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other leaders will address the meeting.

The Karachi meeting is being hosted by the Pakistan People's Party for which 3 different stages have been set up in Jinnah Garden, the main stage has been made for leaders and central leaders, other leaders will sit on 2 more stages.

Giant screens and powerful sound systems have been installed in and around the auditorium, while barbed wire has been installed in front of the stage and containers have been built around the walls.

A separate section of barbed wire fence has been set aside for female participants in the auditorium.
