Karachi: Funeral prayers of Shaykh-ul-Hadith Maulana Dr Adil Khan have been offered at Farooqia University.

Funeral prayers of Shaykh-ul-Hadeeth Maulana Adil Khan, who was martyred in Shah Faisal Colony area of ​​Karachi yesterday, have been offered on Jamia Farooqia Hub River Road. Maulana Adil Khan's funeral prayer was offered by his elder brother Maulana Obaidullah Khalid.

Funeral prayers were offered by Jaid Alam Din Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Mufti Muhammad Rafi Usmani, Maulana Hanif Jalandhari, Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Rashid Soomro, Banuria University Mufti Noman and Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman. A large number of people from other walks of life attended.

Later, Maulana Adil Shaheed was buried at Farooqia University next to his father Maulana Saleemullah Khan.

Police appeal to eyewitnesses

DIG Karachi East Noman Siddiqui said that the case will be registered under the Terrorism Act.
