Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief selector and head coach of the national cricket team Misbah-ul-Haq has said that the national T20 and ODI squads for the series against Zimbabwe will be announced on October 19. ۔According to details, chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq came to Gaddafi Stadium Lahore where he reviewed the matches of the National T20 Cup Second XI tournament. Talking to media on the occasion, he said that the national T20 and ODI teams for the series against Zimbabwe would be announced on October 19 after the completion of the National T20 Cup.

He once again hinted at giving a chance to young players in the series and said that he would announce a 22- or 23-member squad for the T20 and ODI series against Zimbabwe while the boys who performed well in the domestic tournament would be given a series against Zimbabwe. Also can give a chance against New Zealand.
