No one should be missing in a democracy: Shirin Mazari

Federal Minister for Human Rights Shirin Mazari says no one should go missing in a democracy.

This was stated by Federal Minister for Human Rights Shirin Mazari in a statement while reacting to the disappearance of Geo News reporter Ali Imran Syed.

He also said that there are strong laws, including anti-terrorism, to deal with those arrested and prosecuted.

It is to be noted that Ali Imran Syed, a reporter of Geo News, went missing yesterday. According to his family, Ali Imran had gone from his house to a nearby bakery but did not return.

He also said that Ali Imran had left in half an hour, but several hours had passed since his disappearance.

Karachi Police Chief and DIG East have been educated about the vanishing of Ali Imran Syed.
