Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said that he hopes and prays that Ali Imran Syed will meet his family and friends soon. I sincerely hope & pray Ali Ìmrañ Syed reunites with his family & friends very soon.
In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, Information and Broadcasting Minister Shibli Faraz on the disappearance of senior Geo News reporter Ali Imran Syed said, "I hope Ali Imran Syed will meet his family and friends soon."
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has also taken notice of the disappearance of Geo News reporter Ali Imran Syed, Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab said that all efforts will be made for the recovery of reporter Ali Imran.
It is to be noted that Ali Imran Syed, a senior reporter of Geo News in Karachi, has not been traced even after 14 hours. The family members say that Ali Imran went to a nearby bakery from his house on Friday evening but did not return.
Mrs. Ali Imran Syed said that her husband had come out saying that he would return in half an hour, the mobile phone was in the house and the car was parked outside the house.
Police said that no such incident had taken place in the area before and efforts would be made to solve the case by gathering evidence.
