Polio-free Pakistan is our mission, Usman Bazdar

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar in his statement on the occasion of World Polio Eradication Day said that polio free Pakistan is our mission.

In a statement issued from Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that complete eradication of polio was one of the priorities of the government.

Usman Bazdar said that all resources are being utilized to give a healthy future to the children while the administration along with the health department has also been mobilized for anti-polio.

The Punjab Chief Minister said that he was personally monitoring the anti-polio measures in the province while the Punjab government has prepared SOPs for anti-polio in the light of WHO guidelines.

In his statement, Usman Bazdar said that these SOPs are being implemented and regularly monitored, besides children can be saved from polio through timely vaccination.

Usman Bazdar appealed to the parents to vaccinate their children against polio and be a part of the government's efforts.
