Sandalwood drugs case: Police notice issued to wife of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi


Priyanka Alva, wife of Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi, has been issued a notice by the Bangalore Police Crime Branch in connection with the Sandalwood drugs case with her brother Aditya Alva.


According to an Indian media agency, Bangalore police on Thursday raided Vivek Oberoi's Mumbai home. The Sandalwood drug case alleges that many of the accused in the case attend parties at Aditya's farmhouse near Lake Hebel.


Where participants use prohibited items. Police on Thursday raided Vivek's Mumbai residence to arrest his brother-in-law Aditya. But they are still at large.


Bangalore Police Joint Commissioner Sandeep Patil told a well-known Indian web portal that Aditya was a fugitive, and police suspected he was hiding at Vivek's house, so a raid was carried out here with a court warrant.


Fifteen people have been arrested so far in the case, including Canadian-language film actors Regini Dewey and Sanjana Gulrani.


Warren Khanna, Rahul Tonse and several Nigerians are also involved in organizing such a party. Police have launched an operation to root out drug traffickers, suppliers and users.
