Sanjay Dutt wins battle with cancer

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has won the battle with Kesner, the actor announced in a social media message that he is cancer free.

"The last few weeks have been the hardest for me and my family," he wrote in a lengthy post on his Twitter account.

He said that God gave the most difficult battle to his bravest warrior in which he won.

Sanjay Dutt wrote that today, on the occasion of his child's birthday, I would like to celebrate this victory with all of you and give the good news that I have won the battle against cancer.

The actor wrote that on the child's birthday I want to give him the gift of my healthy life and at the same time I am giving this news to all of you.

The actor said that it would not have been possible to win this war without the support of all of you, thank you to all the fans. 

Sanjay Dutt also thanked the fans, those who expressed good wishes and those who conveyed the message of perseverance.

At the end of his message, he thanked the doctors, nurses and other medical staff of Kokila Bean Hospital for their care and better treatment.

Sanjay Dutt was reported to have been diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in August this year, but he did not elaborate.

Some time later, Sanjay Dutt's wife Manita Dutt had said in a statement that Sanjay Dutt was undergoing treatment at Kokilaban Hospital in Mumbai.
