Lahore  Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the uncrowned king of melody and music, is celebrating his best birthday today.


Today is the best birthday of Pakistan's famous emperor Qawal Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. The star, who has been shining on the music horizon for many years, was born on October 13, 1948 in Nishtarabad area adjacent to Jhang Bazaar. I opened my eyes.



 

Ustad Nusrat's father Fateh Ali Khan and Taya Mubarak Ali Khan were great poets of their time, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was the eldest of the brothers. He was fond of music since childhood but his father kept him away from singing as his voice was not funny. However, during this time he mastered the tabla and harmonium.


After some time, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's father started teaching him music by exploring his hidden talents. Emperor Qawal gave his first memorable performance on his father's ritual Chehlum. Nusrat's first public performance was on Radio Pakistan Faisalabad's program "Jashan Faisal Abad.


Every year as long as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan lived, Baba Lasori sang Qawwali at Shah Darbar in Jhang Bazaar. Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan produced 125 albums on which his name is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.


Emperor Qawwali was so afflicted with liver and kidney disease that after six days of life and death struggle, he finally passed away on August 16, 1997. He was buried on August 17 in Jhang Road, Faisalabad Cemetery.
