Former national cricket team captain Wasim Akram and his wife Shanira Akram have released a video message expressing good wishes for national cricketer Umar Gul, who is retiring from international cricket.

In his social media message, Wasim Akram tagged Umar Gul and said that Umar Gul was a brilliant, match-winning cricketer.

Wasim Akram called Umar Gul an ambassador of Pakistan cricket at the international level and also praised his dangerous yorker.

In his video message, Wasim Akram, who was standing on the beach, also invited Shineera as a guest in his video, to which Shineera paid tribute to Umar Gul in a cheerful mood and said the hashtag 'Gul Dodger'.

The former cricketer did not forget to mention the clean beach, he said, "The beach is clean, congratulations to all but today I will talk about another topic."

It may be recalled that a video made by Wasim Akram about the filth on the beach had gone viral on social media, after which the administration took action and the sea view was cleaned.

Wasim Akram and Shanira also expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness of the beach, and released video messages.
