Showbiz stars are happy with the announcement of Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry to launch the first fastest Over the Top (OTT) service in Pakistan in the style of Netflix and are appreciating the move of the Federal Minister.
Fawad Chaudhry had said in his message on Twitter that the issue of technology has been resolved and we are going to launch the first OTT in the style of Netflix soon.
The Federal Minister said that PEMRA has also been asked to prepare guidelines on broadcast material and as soon as the guidelines of PEMRA are received, OTT service will be started in collaboration with private companies.
Reacting to Fawad Chaudhry's tweet, actor Humayun Saeed said, "This is great news for Pakistani media."
