Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted Cricket South Africa for the tour of South Africa team to Pakistan.

According to sources, the PCB is awaiting a response from South African cricket.

 A four-member Cricket South Africa security delegation visited Pakistan last month, and a Cricket South Africa security delegation reviewed arrangements in Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore.

According to sources, two Tests and three T20 matches will be played during the African cricket team's tour. Talks between the PCB and South Africa Cricket on the schedule of the series have been completed.

According to sources, Test matches are expected in Karachi and Lahore while T20 matches are expected in Rawalpindi.

It should be noted that the South African cricket team is scheduled to visit Pakistan in January next year.
