The Russian president would not like to be the aftereffect of the US military mission in Afghanistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that he does not want to get involved in the outcome of the US military operation in Afghanistan.

In a statement, the Russian president said Russia and its partners should unite to help Afghanistan.

He added that good neighborly relations with Afghanistan need to be established.
