An Afghan lady brith a child on a US departure plane

An Afghan woman has given birth to a baby on a US plane carrying civilians from Afghanistan.

The U.S. Air Force says the birth took place shortly after the plane landed at Ramstein Airbase in Germany.

The U.S. Air Force says the woman and her newborn have been taken to a hospital, where both are out of danger.
