Provincial Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that Captain (retd) Safdar was not arrested on the instructions of Sindh government.
Speaking on Geo News' morning show 'Geo Pakistan', Saeed Ghani said about the arrest of Capt (retd) Safdar that it was inappropriate to chant slogans of Capt (retd) Safdar at Mazar-e-Quaid. Is also reprehensible.
Saeed Ghani said that the arrest of Captain (R) Safdar was not done under the pressure of Sindh government, FIR was not registered at 7 pm, time was written incorrectly, the decision of arrest should have been taken in confidence by Sindh government.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani has said that the arrest of Captain (retd) Safdar is state terrorism, even if we are asked to do so, we do not do it.
He further said that this move of the police is part of the conspiracy to create a gap in the PDM parties, the conspiracy to create a gap in the PDM will be foiled.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had said that there were riots, chanting of slogans, frivolous conduct and illegal activities at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Fawad Chaudhry tweeted about the arrest of Captain (R) Safdar on social networking site Twitter and said that the arrest of Captain (R) Safdar of Sindh Police is a statement of respect for the law.
