Lahore: Young Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt said that because of Pakistani people, dramas like 'Ertugrul' are not made in the industry because we are forced to make what they want to see.

As soon as the Turkish drama serial 'Ertugrul' was aired in Pakistan, it reached the heights of popularity, after which the people in the country were seen speaking in favor of making dramas based on historical and Islamic events.

When asked about this in an interview with young actor Muneeb Butt, Muneeb Butt said that after the arrival of Ertugrul in Pakistan, most people have turned against the Pakistani industry and are criticizing Pakistani actors and dramas. My personal opinion is that dramas like 'Ertugrul' are rarely made.

Muneeb Butt said,  All my family members including me watch this play and I feel that my family members have not seen any of my plays as they are watching

The young actor said that the ghost of drama like 'I have you' was riding on people some time ago and now Ertugrul has come, which is a good thing but the disadvantage is that after that fingers are being pointed at our industry. Why we are not making dramas based on such historical and Islamic events.

Muneeb Butt said that I think it is very important to make people understand that not only we are to blame for the criticism of Pakistani industry but also the people are equally involved in it because whatever they want to see or buy the channel. The owners will show the same thing and we know what kind of content people want to see so we have to do the same dramas, if people stop watching then such dramas will also stop being made.

The young actor said that in our TV industry, the affair of a daughter-in-law with someone else's brother-in-law or a father-in-law's affair with his daughter-in-law, I do not like it and it seems very strange to watch while in society. A lot is happening but not everything has to be shown, but people probably want to see it, so such dramas are constantly being made.
