Lahore :Babar Azam became the second highest run scorer in T20 cricket while Shaheen Shah Afridi became the highest wicket-taker.

With 942 runs in the T20 season, Babar Azam, captain of the national T20 and ODI team, became the highest-scoring batsman in the T20I this year, winning the award for the second year in a row.

Babar Azam has scored 8 half centuries and one century so far this season. Babar Azam, who led Central Punjab in the domestic season, said the performance was as good as the team's work.

Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi also holds the record for taking the most T20 wickets this year, topping the list with 39 wickets.
